There is no better teacher than experience. And so that’s what we try to create for our children- new and exciting experiences that offer learning and broaden their thoughts and dreams regarding their lives and future.
We always look out for opportunities to take our children out to various kinds of set ups such as, a corporate, an NGO, a community or an excursion. These set ups offer the children interaction with different kinds of people, environments and situations which create an understanding within them about life and the world outside. It opens their eyes to other realities of the world, sensitizing them to struggles and difficulties that we as people and society face; it opens their minds to the various possibilities in the world regarding their career and what kind of person she or he wants to be.
More about Exposure
These Exposures create aims and goals within the minds of these children, encouraging them to be determined in their own struggles, work harder and strive for a better future.
Thanks to companies like Thoughtworks, McCormick, XL India and Panasonic who welcomed our children into their spaces or visited us at our space, our children have seen what it’s like to be part of a company, what one needs to study to get there and what kind of tasks various employees do.
Workshops and visits in other organizations such as Pravah, Earth Saviours Foundation, Kilkari home for girls and Don Bosco made them aware of problems and other social evils plaguing our world.
Trips to Lodhi Garden, Hauz Khas Tomb and a holiday in Nainital taught the children about our heritage and Nature and the importance of preserving it.
